MBA Abroad

Master of Business Administration(MBA) is a much sought after course by students across the world. The course gives the students avenues into the functioning of the corporate world. MBA programs are available to the students in a number of modes; on campus, online and hybrid. Students can also opt for executive management programs that are of shorter duration and which have similar career options. Students opting for MBA abroad should be aware of the different durations and the modes of the program.

Management Courses

A host of management programs are available to the students to pursue. Aspirants can either pursue a 2-year program or its shorter version, the 1-year MBA programs. Corporates often sponsor their executives for a much shorter but fast-paced executive management program. Apart from the regular MBA programs, aspirants can also opt to pursue a Masters in Management, Global MBA, Masters Engineer Management (MEM).

Other variants of the management courses offered by some of the top universities are Masters in International Business and a Masters in International Management. While aspirants from the non-engineering background may prefer a common MBA program, engineering students aspiring to pursue an MBA abroad may prefer Engineering Management.

The application process requires students to write a few essays relating to goals, plans, ethics, academic background, etc.

The students should also have a good GMAT or GRE score to apply for the course. English language proficiency scores are also a mandatory requirement by business schools as the language of instruction at the schools is English. A higher English language proficiency score adds to the aspirant's profile.

A decent academic background is also one of the main requirements for the MBA program, though students who have been working for a long time, the academic eligibility of a high GPA can be relaxed a bit if the aspirant has a higher GMAT score.
